Ohio State Alumni Advocacy
The Ohio State Advocates is a program of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. that works closely with the University's Office of Government Relations to provide a support service to The Ohio State University by using 800+ volunteers to advocate the university's legislative position.
The Mission of the Ohio State Advocates program is to engage, inform, and encourage alumni and friends of the university to communicate with members of The Ohio General Assembly and other elected officials regarding issues of importance to Ohio State and higher education.
Sarah Dennis
Director, Alumni Advocacy
Sarah oversees the daily operation of the Advocates program while working closely with the Government Relations staff to monitor legislation of importance to Ohio State. She also works closely with Advocate volunteers in helping to establish and maintain positive relationships with members of The Ohio General Assembly through ongoing communications, personal meetings and events.

Deanna Brokaw
Program Assistant, Alumni Advocacy
Deanna manages the daily office operations of the Advocates program and provides administrative support for the program. Through constant communication with volunteers, she maintains database records, communicates requests for assistance and assists in their encouraging ongoing involvement.
