Health and Medical
The Office of Governmental Relations is charged with providing advice and guidance regarding the external environment to senior staff in the Health Sciences Center. Areas of responsibility include local, state and federal relations in both the legislative and executive branches of government.
These responsibilities include monitoring legislative and regulatory items of interest, which can impact the mission and operations of the Health Sciences Center in the areas of patient care, education and research.
The
Office also serves as a resource to faculty, staff, students and
alumni who are interested in how the functions of government affect
the Health Sciences Center.
