Staff Associate for Government Relations and Fiscal Officer
Barbara Knight has been on the Government Relations staff since March 1995. She serves as a staff associate and fiscal officer, where she provides administrative support for Richard Stoddard. Her current responsibilities include the fiscal and human resource duties for the office.
After four years of service in the Social Work Department both at the University Medical Center and then Dodd Hall, Barbara joined the Office of the President. Prior to joining Ohio State in 1991, her career included working for a law firm in Columbus, Division Secretary for Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Assistant to the President at Ramada Inn in Corapolis, Pennsylvania.
Barbara is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she received a bachelor's degree in Science from the College of Human Ecology. She also received an associate degree from Robert Morris College where she concentrated on an administrative executive assistant program.
