Assistant Vice President - Community Relations
As Assistant Vice President for Community Relations, Dawn Tyler Lee works closely with local government entities, including mayors, city council members, city managers, and other city and county appointed and elected officials, to strengthen the University’s links between community leaders and nonprofit organizations and to facilitate community and University partnerships.
Prior to coming to Ohio State, Dawn worked as a Board Liaison for the Columbus Board of Education. She also has worked as a Legislative Aide to Columbus City Council Member Charleta Tavares and is a former Housing Policy Director for the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio.
Dawn received a master’s degree in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hampton University in Virginia.
