Asssistant Vice President, State Relations
Jack Hershey joined Ohio State in May of 2004 and works closely with the state legislators and state officials on issues affecting Ohio State, with a primary focus on issues concerning state finances, budgeting, and appropriations.
Jack has an extensive background in public sector finance. Prior to joining Ohio State, Jack served as Deputy Director for the Ohio Office of Budget and Management. Before that, he worked in the Ohio House of Representatives with three different Chairmen of the House Finance and Appropriations Committee and as Director of Finance under House Speaker Jo Ann Davidson.
Jack is originally from Northeast Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Akron.
